Paolo Annicchiarico holds a PhD from Aberystwyth University (UK) and is Director of research at CREA’s Centre for Animal Production and Aquaculture in Lodi (Italy), where he leads public breeding programs that released varieties of alfalfa, white clover, pea, white lupin and faba bean. He authored 2 books and over 130 papers in high-impact factor (Q1 or Q2) journals. He is President of the International Legume Society, and Ex. Com. member of the International Lupin Association.
